Developer: Responsible for major projects as well as for the
establishment of a company software development infrastructure. Projects include:

The design, development and implementation of the
company wide engineering project billing system using Rational Rose, Visual
Basic and SQL server.

The creation and establishment of company wide software
development standards and the application of these standards.
·
The specification and implementation of software
projects requiring the extensive use of version control and bug tracking
software for users both onsite and remote. These projects involve the asset
management of about one third of the world’s commercial aircraft.
· The development from design through code and script writing to installation and customer support of custom financial software enhancements and data upload capabilities. Main tools used were SQL Server (7.0 and 2000), Access and Visual Basic. Software development required interfacing to Microsoft-Great Plains via the SQL Server back end.

Transaction Tracking System from inception to production. The package was created using Visual Basic
and Sybase SQL.
April 1998 - March 2000: Brobeck, Phleger and
Harrison, LLP; Senior Programmer/Analyst and Business Analyst. Project
manager for the development, testing and installation of multiple legal and
document management applications.
Developed legal case management systems using Visual Basic, ASP, COM
components and SQL with browser based front ends. These systems maintain
massive amounts of data in large scale litigation, such as the 300,000 asbestos
related lawsuits against Dow Coming.
July 1993 - April 1998: PMI Group Inc.: Senior Programmer Analyst. Project manager and software lead in the development
of the AURA mortgage application scoring engine using FoxPro. Entirely responsible for the design,
development and support of the company sales activity reporting system using
Access, SQL server, and IBM AS400.
March 1987 - July 1993: Computer House Inc.; Software Manager. Principal responsibility was the development of business
data base applications using Visual Basic, dbase, Pick and Advanced Revelation.
Projects included an investment portfolio analysis package in Visual Basic; an
enhancement to a design firm's time and billing package using Advance
Revelation and FoxPro; a dbase application for a CPA firm to provide additional
reporting of spreadsheet data; a profitability analysis program for a building
maintenance company using FoxPro; the installation, instruction and support to
users of an EDI system for the fulfillment of Wal-Mart ordering; and the
design, development, installation and support of a client tracking system for a
social service organization. Additional responsibilities included the
installation, administration and support of several commercial networks and
well as ongoing support and training of users.

Senior Programmer-Analyst (on contract). Responsibilities included the
development under Pick and lnfobasic of software for profitability analysis;
the implementation and maintenance of communications between mainframes and
PC's using Basic, Assembly language and dBase3; and instruction and support to
users throughout the company.
