Holistic Educator - Psychotherapist / Meditation Teacher
1974 - '95 After initial studies in Psychology at UC Berkeley & Gestalt both at Esalen & Gestalt Institute in San Francisco CA. Took further training in Neo-Riechian Energywork at The Institute of Unitive Psychology in Holland and with spiritual Masters in India - Zen, Theravada Buddhism - Tantra & Vedanta.
Gave seminars in Europe, U.S.A., Australia and India, integrating western psychotherapy, meditation and creative arts. Founder of "Spiral" - an Integrative Community, Ibiza, Spain.
Artist - Fine Arts & Performance
1964 - '95 Studied Painting & Drawing at San Francisco Art Institute, Woodblock design & printing in Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan. Acting and Directing in New York at HB Studios. Worked in State Repertory & Off-Broadway. Founded Actors Lab. with Al Pacino & F. Murrey Abraham in New York, then opened experimental theatre in San Francisco.
Wrote play "Trolley Stop" which was produced in New York. Worked as writer & director in Hollywood "Child's view of Australia" - location documentary. Artist with Hanna Barbera Animation studios.
First one man show of paintings Artecnica Lisbon, Portugal. Subsequent work with Malborough Galleries, Zurich & Barry Stern, Sydney.
Environmental Developer - Engineer & Architect
1958 - '64 Studied as Surveyor Engineering at Chatham Military College and Civil Engineering at George Williams University, Montreal & Architecture at Architecture Association, London.
Worked on variety of projects from Airport facilities in Montreal and Mining in Northern Quebec, to land development in Florida and California both in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Managing Director/Designer for homebuilding company, Devon, England.
