Statement: There is nothing wrong with car alarms except
that -;
- They make noise (amplified sound that is audible
to the public).
- The noise they make is intrusive, alarming, and
unpredictable in nature.
- There is no benefit to society at large to
compensate for the noise they make.
Intended outcome (goal):
- Reduce and eventually eliminate the connection between
the car alarm and the device or devices that make the
noise.
Proposed method:
- Start a class action suit against the manufacturers and
distributors of car alarms to cause them to -:
- a) Cease and desist from manufacturing car alarms that
make noise.
- b) Pay for the removal of connection between the car
alarm and the device or devices that make the noise.
Hypothesis: There is enough evidence to prove that
- Car alarms are a public nuisance.
- Survey of people who have heard car alarms
"go off" with no evident
"thief" or other warranted cause.
- Survey of people who would take no "public
police" action if they did hear a car alarm
"go off".
- Survey of people who have seen the apparent car
owner near to the car when the car alarm
"goes off".
